He later joined forces with Chef Mike Eckles at Coach Insignia before venturing to Chicago, where he worked at the Michelin-starred restaurant Yugen, further expanding his culinary expertise.

Returning to Detroit, Marcus played a pivotal role in managing the kitchen at the highly acclaimed Selden Standard, where he continued to refine his craft and contribute to the restaurant's success. Now, as co-owner and sous chef at Abode Fine Dining, Marcus brings a wealth of culinary knowledge and experience to the table, ensuring every dish is a masterpiece of flavor and innovation.
